March CAS Stencil Challenge

Welcome to a new challenge hosted by Julia.

Check out the Top Picks from February's Powdered Inks challenge HERE.

Message from Julia
Julia here, as host  for today's stencil challenge. Ghosting is a fun technique where you color a water color panel using water soluble crayons, inks or paints.  Lay your stencil over the colored panel and rub over it with a baby wipe to remove the color - leaving a 'ghost' of the stencil image!  We hope you'll try it out this month!

    CAS Stencil February's Top Picks

We are thrilled to see so many beautiful CAS Cards
    in our CAS Stencil gallery.
It was great to see many of our participants using
Stenciling with Powdered Inks for the very first time! :)

    Our Top Pick for February
Congratulations Bobby!  Your CAS Brushos Beauty is a wonderful example
of how to trim down a stencil image so there is
plenty of white space.  I love how you framed it with a square stitch die.
Your gorgeous stenciled card was a unanimous favorite by all the DT!

    Congratulations, Bobby!

All the Powdered Inks listed above add vibrant colors when used with stencils.
If you have never used powdered inks we are sharing helpful videos.
Loll's are my favorite. Our DT has wonderful sample cards too.
    Have lots of Inky Fun!

      CAS Stencil January's Top Picks

January's Sponging challenge was a great success with many amazing entries.
Thanks to all that played along with us on our first challenge!
We hope you'll join us on Feb. 4th for the next challenge!

      Our Top Pick for January
The winner was unanimous among the CAS Stencil Designers.
Ishani's card is a beautiful and elegant design.  With the silver-gray card base, Ishani sponged bright pink over the center of the flower and then sponged glass bead gel over the whole flower, giving it lots of shimmer and shine.
      Amazing card Ishani!

      Congratulations, Ishani!
Make sure to grab the "Top Pick" badge below.

      And more Outstanding Designs
