CAS Stencil January's Top Picks

January's Sponging challenge was a great success with many amazing entries.
Thanks to all that played along with us on our first challenge!
We hope you'll join us on Feb. 4th for the next challenge!

Our Top Pick for January
The winner was unanimous among the CAS Stencil Designers.
Ishani's card is a beautiful and elegant design.  With the silver-gray card base, Ishani sponged bright pink over the center of the flower and then sponged glass bead gel over the whole flower, giving it lots of shimmer and shine.
Amazing card Ishani!

Congratulations, Ishani!

January CAS Stencil Challenge

Hello and welcome to the start of a new challenge and a new adventure!

This is going to be all about playing with stencils and learning how
to use stencils with different techniques and different products.

This will stretch the use of your stencils - which is always a good thing.
Stencils are one of the most inexpensive ways to add
an image or pattern to your cards.

It's important to keep your card entries CAS (clean and simple).
The easiest way if you find your stencil has taken over your whole card front,
is to use a portion of the design.
You can do that by adding a plain frame or border around your design,
or by cutting your design into a smaller panel and adhering to your card base.

This first CAS Stencil challenge is hosted by Loll.
Let's get started with one of the most basic techniques for stenciling ...
